Headliners for 2023 announced!

We are thrilled to announce that 19-Twenty, Fiona Boyes, Midge Marsden, and Grant Haua will be gracing the stage at this years festival!
These phenomenal artists will bring their unique talents and electrifying performances, creating an unforgettable experience for all.

New Zealand’s legendary music icon Sir Midge Marsden needs no introduction!
Midge’s career spans five decades, and during that time he has played thousands of concerts in New Zealand and introduced several generations of Kiwi’s to the Rhythm & Blues.


After that epic performance last year, 19-Twenty are back for the NZ Blues & BBQ Fest 2023! 19-Twenty have been whipping up a frenzy on the festival scene.
The 19-Twenty lads have been performing their high-energy sonic-party, headlining sell-out shows and festivals across Australia.

Fiona Boyes and The Fortune Tellers

Fiona Boyes plays deep blues, influenced by a myriad of traditional regional styles. She has carved an international reputation as a blues guitarist, bandleader, vocalist and songwriter.
A distinctive finger-picking and slide guitarist, Fiona’s soulful, authoritative style has earned her unprecedented recognition overseas.

The Grant Haua Explosion

Prepare to be wowed with two epic days of Grant Haua at this years NZ Blues and BBQ Festival!
Kicking off proceedings with his acoustic solo set Grant will present his deep timbre soul blues vocals/acoustic guitars and foot percussion (cajon/snare). His performance relates heavily to his Māori culture which are at the heart of these songs.
