Sunday Youth Music Competition!

  • $5000 RECORDING STUDIO PRIZE UP FOR GRABS!!!

Sunday is dedicated to emerging Blues Music Talent. We are looking for rangatahi to compete in our Youth Blues Music Competition.

The finals will be Sunday 27th November as part of the festival.

Eight bands will be battling out to win ‘best emerging talent’ for 2022 with a

RECORDING PACKAGE valued at $5000!!

PLUS Prizes and awards for original song, best musician and more.

What you need to know now…..

Heats will be held in the run up to the festival via our BOP Blues Club Monthly Jam nights and Rotorua Thurs Night Market. Starting Oct 5th.

Guest judges will be in attendance to select potential finalists.

SONOROUS (above) are a fun youth band (15-18yrs) from Taupo. They play originals and covers and have been together about a year.  They will be competing – why don’t you join the competition too!
